SUSTAINABLE URBAN MOBILITY |
Fuelled by a need for a society run by greener and renewable energy, India and Germany have set ambitious targets to make urban mobility more sustainable. There is a consensus among the various stakeholders that these targets cannot be achieved by working in silos, and that collaboration and cooperation are the way forward. This has been highlighted by the Declaration of Intent on the Indo- German Partnership on Green Urban Mobility. To further this cause, at the DWIH New Delhi, we have been working to create meaningful and solution-oriented dialogue on sustainable urban mobility. This year, in several interactive formats, we brought together researchers from diverse fields and encouraged exchange of ideas. In this edition, we bring to you insights, conversations, first-hand experiences and the latest developments in India and Germany on the topic and expert opinions on why should both the countries cooperate for a greener, cleaner urban mobility system.
